The staff were very friendly and helpful and set up the cot we ordered for our baby immediately upon our arrival. I certainly felt that they were prepared for our visit and knew that we had requested items like the cot and offsite parking.
Being directly in the heart of Brisbane, there is a fair amount of noise in the immediate vicinity which we suffered through. The bedrooms have double glazing which helped but it really was quite a noisy location. We spent most of our time out of the apartment but the nights were still noisy and I used earplugs.
Location and convenience of the kitchenette.
The location was just excellent! We could walk to Queen Street shopping mall in 5 minutes. The Woolworth supermarket is just 2 minutes away.
The washing machine's handle was already broken when we checked in and it was not fixed during our one week's stay.
The location was the best thing about this hotel. In the centre of th CBD.
Location. Hotel caught between trying to cater for business or leisure. The one bed apartment was as described but its size was tiny. Would have been O.K for 1 person on business. Living area was miniscual, couldnt swing the proverbial cat ( room 32A)
Best thing is the location. Right in the middle of CBD opp the first stop of the City Sights tour, very close to Central Station, next to GPO and one block from Queen Street Mall. Also very close to ferry and cat services on the river.
I had a very friendly gentleman at the front desk... he got me a printout of the train timetables and all the local attractions. Great walking distance to the train station, and it was fine bringing back hookers there :P
The room was a bit dated but fine. It had kind of smelt a bit smokey but was not all that noticeble
close to every thing
The complimentary continental breakfast - it has a great variety of choice of food all nicely presented
Lack of housekeeping over weekend - our apartment was never cleaned as they only clean every other day and not over weekend and we were there Thursday to Monday.
Lovely place to stay and very handy to all shopping
Was not happy that we had to pay for parking, if we had known this, we wouldnt have booked to stay at the Manor. We spent $80.00 on parking and we only stayed 2 nights. There was no swimming pool, internet facilities, games for children areas.
The central location.
Poor sound insulation, lots of external noise from outside and neighboring apartments.Dim lighting which coupled with the dark heavy funiture made the atmosphere depressing.
the best thing was it's location, it gave time to do everything i needed that day
there wasn't bath tub but other than that it was enjoyble.
The location was great so we could eat and shop in the city. Having two bathrooms was a huge bonus. Also the washing machine and drier was very handy. All the staff were helpful and friendly.
Location was great and I felt quite safe even very late at night
Older style furnishings were fine but not new or stylish
The fact that it was close to the venue that we had booked for that night
